Barrel Aged Moonlit Triunfo Coffee – 2021

Barrel Aged Moonlit Imperial Stout is brewed with a complex layering of specialty dark malts and English pale malt. It was rested in a combination of Buffalo Trace and W L Weller barrels for up to 12 months. The result pours a pitch black with a dark caramel head. Expect beautiful barrel notes of vanilla, caramel, coconut and toasted wood, on top of Moonlit’s dark chocolate, roasted coffee and fluffy oats. This variation adds Mexican Triunfo coffee, sourced and roasted by our friends at Alabaster Coffee. El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve is balanced sweet and savory with a smooth, peanut butter-like experience.
